Well Labor Day has arrived, in more ways than one and as I type away the sun has just peaked through the fog, providing us with a beautiful start to the day.

Overnight the nurses and doctors have slowly bumped up the Pitocin level to 12. Which has increased the frequency and the sensation of the contractions, but still allowed Heather to get some quality sleep.

They are going to try and amp up the contractions this morning and once that happens try and get a measurement of her cervix. I fully expect good news as Heather has taken really well to the Pitocin.

They just bumped up the Pitocin level that Heather is receiving to 6. She’s been having very regular contractions but can’t feel them, which is why they are increasing the Pitocin level.

Looks like big labor on labor day.

Is it possible to sleep the night before your first born is going to enter this world? I don’t think so! I’m hopped on anticipation and sheer joy. Thankfully the future Mom took a hit of Benedryl and is sound asleep.

We believe the bag of water may have just broken.
